“Change” Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicants must:
Must be of Haitian descent
Have plans to enroll full time in a degree seeking program at a two or four year U.S. accredited institution in South Florida in the upcoming academic year
Recent high school graduate or GED student receipt (graduation date must be less than 2 years
Maintained at least a 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale
Demonstrate proven leadership ability through extracurricular activities, sports, and/or community service
Demonstrate a strong financial need
Provide a detailed description of challenges the applicant has overcome
Submit a 1000 word essay describing what you bring back to the Haitian community after graduation
